Hey Domo Lovers! Domo Nation has partnered with GoAnimate.com, the online platform that lets people create their own customizable animations. Domo Animate is a new part of our website that puts you in control of Domo's next adventure.
Now Domo Nation is launching its biggest challenge ever! Show off your creativity and get a chance to have your animation featured on an official Domo DVD to be released this Fall!
Here is a quick checklist to make sure your entry is eligible to win the contest:
1. Click on the “Animate” button to create an animation
2. Create an animation lasting between 30 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds (we like humor)
3. Include music and/or sound effects in your animation
4. Tag your animation with the word “DomoGo” (This is very important!)
5. Make your animation publicly available on Domo Animate (funny helps)
6. Make sure your entry is suitable for all audiences
7. Did we mention it would be good to make us laugh?
Prizes
The Top 5 eligible submissions selected to win will be featured in the upcoming Domo: Volume 1 video release by Phase 4 Films, Inc.
Domo: Volume 1 will feature the best of Domo, bonus original Japanese episodes and commercials, and the Domo Animation Challenge winning videos. Winning videos will be highlighted on the DVD by appearing in a dedicated section and provide full credit to the creators.
Additionally, Domo Nation and Phase 4 Films will supply all eligible winners with a free copy of the DVD plus other prizes that will be sent to all the finalists!
Judging Criteria
Winning animations will be at the hands of Domo Nation and Phase 4 Films and selected from the Top 50 Animations submitted based on total views. HINT: Tell your friends and get your views up!!!
Entries must be submitted between 12:01 a.m. EST on May 18, 2009 and 11: 59 p.m. EST June 14, 2009. Entries submitted after 11:59 p.m. on June 14, 2009 are ineligible to win.
